Tire blowouts cause roughly 78,000 wrecks and 622 deaths each year.
Why is it important to get your RV weighed wheel-by-wheel?
The only way to determine the coach's weight distribution is to weigh the RV at the end of each axle (typically known as 4 corner weighing). This information will make it possible to calculate the load at each tire, the load on each axle, the RV's gross vehicle weight (GVW) and the distribution of the weight on each component.
4 corner RV weighing is the only way to ensure the RV is within its designed capacities.
To get the most out of your RV experience you must reduce the chances of avoidable problems. Tires are the most likely issue for concern. Make sure you have taken all reasonable precautions to prevent an unforeseen problem on the road. According to the RV Safety Education foundation, "Setting your radial tires to the correct pressure is one of the most important aspects of ensuring safe traveling".
Why would I want to weigh my RV?
According to the RVer's Ultimate Survival Guide, "NOBODY can tell you what your tire inflation should be without properly weighing your RV wheel by wheel". The only way you can determine the proper inflation for your RV tires is to refer to the tire manufacturer's Load/Inflation tables for your particular tire, AND the load that is being carried by that tire. Underinflated tires may result in decreased mpg caused by increased rolling resistance, present an imminent tire failure (blow out), and decreased tread life.
Over inflated tire
Overinflated tires can adversely affect handling, suspension and stopping of the RV. Because there is less flex in the sidewall of the tires more road impact is transferred to the suspension and chassis. The reduced "footprint" of the tire decreases the surface of the tire on the road where it's needed for proper handling and stopping.

We also weigh airplanes, boats, motorcycles, race cars. We can assist you in adjusting weight distribution hitches, determining proper load distribution on vehicle trailers and other issues related to proper loading of a vehicle.
To be able to make meaningful changes to address the safety issues of your RV it must be weighed properly. "Properly" meaning, accurate scales, all weigh points (4,6 or 8) weighed at the same time using the "4 corner" technique. This will give you the best picture of the RV's condition related to weight and load distribution.
What do we use to do the weighing?
We use load cell technology scales designed specifically for our needs. Capable of measuring up to 20,000 lbs at .05% accuracy. The scales self-calibrate to compensate for differences in temperature and humidity upon each use. We also have them calibrated and certified annually to ensure accurate performance.
What is Tongue Weight?
Tongue weight (TW) is the downward force exerted at a vehicle-trailer coupling point when your trailer is hooked up for towing. The tongue weight should be between 10-15% of the gross trailer weight.

What will I receive after my RV is weighed?
Vehicle's weight ratings for each component
Vehicles actual weights at each component
Wheel base and overall length (motorhomes)
Computer Weight Analysis comparing the ratings against the measured results, identifying "out of limits" readings and critical imbalances.
Towable's weight ratings and actuals if applicable
Tire information: manufacturer, size, maximum load, maximum PSI, current PSI, recommended PSI and age of tires
